The Three S’s.

When my brilliant branding friend suggested I write a blog, it felt right pretty quickly. To go forth, I made three promises to myself about the project.

To keep it:

SHORT.

A labor of love and truth, rather than perfectly edited pieces of literature. To maintain consistency and prevent burnout, I’m going to try to manage my expectations and in doing so, practice the art of letting go.

SWEET.

I hope you get something out of this blog. I’m sharing to create a sense of belonging and to help remember our humanness. One of my teachers has always advocated the importance of generosity, which I know can feel counteractive when you're time poor / starting out / dealing with yoga teacher pay rates / surviving in a dog-eat-dog world.

But when it’s the right amount of give, it feels right.

SIMPLE.

I’ve alway loved yoga anatomy to help find freedom through alignment, but I’m no expert. I love translating the yoga sutras to make them adaptable to real life, but I’m no philosophy wiz. I believe in the inner work because I believe in evolving and growth, but I’m no guru. I’ll try to minimise the fluff and get straight to the message.

I hope you share with me by commenting, telling me what you want more of, and sharing this blog.

Love,

Leanne xoxo
